Pump Ventilation Rig

To reassure and inform customers who might buy a vertically orientated centrifugal pump, a demonstration rig was designed and built by myself. The impeller was driven from the bottom of the assembly using a belt drive arrangement with a 4 pole motor consuming up to 2kW of power. The internals of the pump were made visible by using a custom built perspex containment shroud which allowed a professional video to be shot for distribution to applicable clients.
