Low Flow Hydraulics

To expand HMD’s hydraulic coverage I was tasked with producing over thirty new low flow hydraulics. Multiple impeller and pump casing castings had to be designed in conjunction with machinists and suppliers. Stress analysis was performed on a normal section of the new pump casing designs to establish whether they would withstand pressures of up to 50 bar; after establishing minimal sections, concept models were then sent to casting suppliers for further development.
